ABOUT US
Anbalaba Social Community (ASC) was founded by Bouigue Développement Ltee in april 2023.​

Its aim is to promote vibrant social community based on 3 main axis: ​

Interpersonal networks that provide sociability, social support and social capital to their members

Residence in a common locality, such as a village or neighbourhood

Solidarity sentiments and activities

Bouigue family envisioned from the start that the Domaine d'Anbalaba real estate and Baie du Cap village should develop and grow together, though enhanced collaboration, to face their unique needs and challenges together. ​
​
ASC aims at providing the adequate support whilst creating a lively and enjoyable environment for the residents of Baie du Cap and Choisy villages and of Domaine d'Anbalaba to build a vibrant, lasting and authentic community.
​
Bouigue Développement has launched, through Anbalaba Social Community (ASC) an innovative community building initiative by using a creative and dynamic approach to strengthen the local community and provide adequate support to ensure a safe and attractive urban and natural environment in Baie du Cap and Choisy.

OUR MISSION
Our mission aims at providing the adequate support and initiatives to the residents of
Baie du Cap, Choisy and Domaine d'Anbalaba to build a vibrant, lasting and authentic community within a safe and beautiful environment.
OUR INITIATIVE
Domaine d'Anbalaba development is anchored in the community of Baie du Cap.
Through Anbalaba Social Community (ASC) it aims to community development by promoting the well-being of all age groups and enabling sustainable improvement in the quality of life of people living in the urban and natural environment.

Anbalaba Foundation has implemented for each entire year, a rich and diversified programme of social, cultural and recreational activities. These activities focus on values supporting personal growth, family empowerment and community development.
OUR PARTNERS
Based on the social and physical survey initiated in 2021, Domaine d'Anbalaba partnered early 2022 with DRIP (Développement, Rassemblement, Information et Prévention), to implement tailored programmes such as:

Training and outings for 40 youths (age 15+) ​

Support to parents ​

Set up of a local community platform​

Public events and celebrations​
​
Activities and events are organised within the premises of Anbalaba, Station A restaurant and esplanade as well as on the beach of Baie du Cap, and specific outings overall in Mauritius, in partnership with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Prime Minister's Office, the American Embassy, the District Council, Forces Vives and many other partners.

In 2022, the local community platform Makonde was set up to ensure the long-term development.
